How things can change...

In light of recent news reports concerning not enough support for some of our troops when they get back home, I wrote a little poem in a positive way for those heroes affected by their experiences...

A door was opened when you went to war

Now it's time to step back through it & learn who you are.

When you come back home you may feel alone

Shrouded in mystery that no-one else can see.

At the start of training the Army says "Do it this way"

But when you leave it's "Go your own way."

You've been through hell & come out the other side

Please hold on to your honour & pride.

Keep your head up my son,

You're not the only one.

Help is out there, don't be afraid to find it,
